Launched as a monthly magazine five years ago with filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava on the July 2017 cover, eShe has come a long way through these momentous years in global history.

Founded by award-winning journalist Aekta Kapoor and supported by a devoted team of contributors and well-wishers, eShe has sealed its position as a digital media platform that amplifies women’s voices and stories of our shared humanity.

Along with our journalism and syndications to platforms like CNBCTV18 and Money Control, we have done this through our peace summits that create a space for women’s leadership in South Asia; through our Shine Your Light personal-growth workshops for women; and through our various writing contests for women over the years.

The Covid pandemic forced us to change our format from a print magazine to a website and video blog, but in no way has that changed our passion and commitment to highlight stories of women creating value in the world.
