A little bit of gold, a little bit of glamour, and a whole lot of razzmatazz. You’ll love Dior’s new Golden Shock Makeup Collection for Christmas 2014 is an alchemy of colour and metal – it is a blend of gold with bold shades to create a dazzle for the party season coming up. The French fashion house has revisited its own classics and added a touch of gold sparkle to them in a new line that comprises lipstick, compact powder, an eyeshadow palette and nail paint in a range of shimmering reds, pinks and browns. Pure luxury, we say!
The Diorific lipstick now comes in a two-tone version encased in the symbolic gilded case and an iridescent hologram. You can layer the two shades or paint a different texture on each lip, or else add the iridescence at the center of the lips to add volume. It is available in eight shades of crimson, luscious pink and burgundy – one side has a velvet matte finish and the other side has the same shade but with a pearly gold shimmer.
Next comes the Diorific Golden Shock Top Coat – this is available in Crimson Shock, Smoky Liquorice, Pearlescent Mirror and Gold Equinoxe. The idea is to add a brilliant shine and delicate golden leaves to your nail colour. The Diorific Golden Shock compact powder sculpts and adds a glimmer to your face. The illuminating pressed powder has two sides for two effects. The eyeshadow palette from the collection is a reinvented version of 5 Couleurs iconic offering from the house of Dior. Based on a central shade, four accessory shades in different textures are to be used to create a multi-faceted look. There are also two ready-to-wear looks for the eyes – ‘natural’ and ‘sophisticated’ – based on the central shade.
And with Dior’s glamorous packaging, your vanity case is going to look just as beautiful too. 🙂
I can’t get over how beautiful these products look!
