After nine decades of epitomising sartorial luxury, Italian label Gucci is all set to make us more beautiful with its new line of cosmetics launched this month at Milan Fashion Week.
Divided into Gucci Eye, Gucci Lip, Gucci Face, Gucci Brush and Gucci Nail, the collection will have about 200 different items produced using cutting-edge technology. They are garbed in the chic gold-and-black packaging with an embossed Guccissima pattern reminiscent of the brand’s core identity. The colour palette used is inspired by Gucci’s archival fabrics and leathers, and comprises mainly gold, black, red, ottanio, bronze and copper, and was developed in collaboration with the very famous makeup artist, Pat McGrath.
The launch party for the cosmetics range was held at Gucci’s flagship store at Via Montenapoleone, Milan on September 17 . Creative director of the brand, Frida Giannini introduced producer, writer and equestrian Charlotte Casiraghi as the face of Gucci Cosmetics the same day.
The products will be available from October 2014 at select stores in Europe, USA and online.
