Oh. My. God. Parisian shoe designer Christian Louboutin has just launched his first beauty product — and it’s a collection of killer nail paint with pointy caps! Priced $50, Rouge Louboutin is meant to be “a timeless, vibrant red suited to any skin tone.” Standing a stately eight inches high, the bottle was inspired by the Ballerina Ultima shoe, the tallest heel Christian Louboutin has ever created (yes, some women do wear those). The bottles, produced by Pochet, use an ombré-effect faceted glass that takes 22 weeks to produce, and brushes are designed to minimise air bubbles.
“If I do beauty, I have to do it my way,” Louboutin has announced.
If you can’t afford to wear those towering red-soled Louboutin shoes, you can now at least toe the (beauty) line.
