Look Who Went Shopping for Eco-Friendly Goodies at STEP Earth Mela!

Shoppers loved the Step Earth Mela, where ethically produced lifestyle products shared space with organic foods and eco-friendly apparel.

The STEP Earth Mela concluded yesterday at Jashn-E-Aman 2018 hosted by the Italian Embassy Cultural Center, at Chandragupta Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. eShe was the proud magazine partner for the event.

Organised as a fundraiser by the STEP Foundation, the event saw 60 enterprises displaying wares that were environmentally friendly and ethically produced – from jewellery, apparel, textiles, giftware, footwear, accessories and stationery to home décor, air purifiers and food.

The bazaar was curated by Sonali Pal, founder of social enterprise 23.23 Designs and Sourcing, and independent consultant Nyamat Bindra, and was a non-ticketed two-day event. All participating brands had to follow certain guidelines: Their products or services must be sustainable, environmentally friendly or must give back to the community in some way.

The bazaar was a tremendous success, with shoppers and supporters attending from all across NCR. Here are a few snapshots from the event.
