Fuzia is a global online women’s networking community and a talent showcase platform for creativity, built through the advent of virtual hiring.
During the Facebook live talk, Aekta shared various ways that aspiring journalists and creative writers could enhance their career journeys.
Her main three tips are:
Develop a mindset of hyper-adaption: Technology is changing at super-high speeds and the rules of digital publishing change every few months or weeks. Be flexible, open-minded and learn a new thing every day.
Do it yourself: There is no one way or right way to be published anymore. Start your own blog or website – it’s the business card of the 21st century.
Write your truth: Whether you’re a journalist or a creative writer, write only what feels right to you. Don’t go with the majoritarian view just because it appears to be the cool thing to do.
