Tradition, celebration and the promise of a lifetime!

IMG-20170420-WA0009An unparalleled wedding saga set to unfold in Udaipur when CG Corp Global’s Varun Chaudhary marries Anushree Tongya next week. The wedding promises to be a stunning extravaganza combining traditional ceremonies interspersed with the gaiety and excitement of a modern, dazzling celebration.

Both the bride and groom belong to reputed families from the subcontinent. Varun Chaudhary is the youngest son of Binod Chaudhary, the chairman of CG Corp Global which is headquartered in Nepal, and is the country’s first and only billion-dollar enterprise. Anushree Tongya is the daughter of Anita and Rajkumar Tongya, a leading family of Jaipur, India, which is involved in the traditional business of precious gems that Rajasthan has been renowned for over the centuries.

IMG-20170420-WA0016The young scion Varun has been busy of late. He now helms CG Corp expansion in India and is closely involved in bringing and launching new brands and enterprises. Within Rajasthan, he is leading on an expansion programme at the Greentech Mega Food Park in Roopangarh where special processing units are being set up.

He is the youngest founder-member of International Vaish Federation. He is also on the executive committee of Doon School Old Boys Society and is the trustee of Chaudhary Foundation, under whose aegis he has been honoured to be nominated on the Board of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), an organisation better known for the promulgation of the Jaipur Foot. A centre will soon be set up in Nepal as part of the agreement to bring succour to thousands of hapless people.

IMG-20170420-WA0011Even if you aren’t familiar with Varun’s CG Foods, you’re certainly familiar with its flagship ready-to-eat brand Wai Wai. Varun is the driving force behind the Wai Wai City concept, which has opened its first unique outlet in Hauz Khas village in Delhi; he promises more than 100 such franchises soon. He’s also got his sights set on ventures in hospitality, FMCG, real estate, education, cement, telecom, biotech and more.

That’s a lot on Varun’s plate, but for now, we hope he and Anushree enjoy their fairy-tale wedding!
